初めて漆器をデザインしました。
小学館のSOOKというWEBマガジンの連載で、輪島の桐本木工所に取材に行きました。その帰り際、「酒井さんも漆器デザインしませんか？」と言われたのがきっかけです。 「酒と肴の器」は文字通り、一皿の肴でちびちび日本酒を飲むための器です。どちらも朴の木でできています。 酒の器は木目の見える拭き漆。通常、朴の木目はきれいとされてなくて、木目を出すことはないそうですが、今回は「枯れた感じもいいですね。」ということでこういう仕上げに。 肴の器は蒔地技法という傷の付きづらい漆仕上げで、黒とうるみ（濃い茶色）の2色があります。 一皿いい感じの肴をみつくろって、うまい酒を飲んでいただければと思います。 もちろん、器は息子さんからのプレゼントというのが理想なんですが。 それぞれ5,250円と10,500円で日本橋三越ほかで発売中です。
This is the first time I’ve designed a bowl.
For a series in Shogakukan’s web magazine I visited Wajima’s Kirimoto Woodworking Shop. On my way out I was asked, “Mr. Sakai, would you like to try your hand in designing a bowl?” That was the beginning of this story. “A bowl for drink and delicacies” is as its name says, home to both your delicatable and sake. Both are made out of magnolia. For the sake bowl you can enjoy the grain as you sip, it is merely brushed with lacquer. Magnolia usually isn’t a wood considered to have a grain worth showing, but I thought a bit of a “withered” feel would be nice. The bowl for delicacies is made using the Makiji lacquering technique, strengthening it against scratches. It comes in two colors, black and dark brown. I hope you choose the perfect bowl for your delicacies, and an appropriate drink to quench your thirst. Of course, this is the ideal present to receive from your son! 我第一次尝试设计漆器。
因为小学馆SOOK网站上的连载，我前往轮岛的桐本木工所进行采访。离开前，对方询问我：「酒井先生是否愿意设计漆器呢？」因而开启了我的漆器设计契机。 「酒器与酒肴器」诚如字面所示，是搭配一盘酒肴，小酌日本酒时的专用器皿。两项器皿的原材料都是日本厚朴木。 酒器采用能够展现木头纹理的折漆。人们通常觉得日本厚朴木的木纹不漂亮，所以很少展现木纹；不过，这次我觉得「干枯的感觉挺不错的」，因此便饰以日本厚朴木纹。 酒肴器的上漆，采用不易受到损伤的莳地技法，有黑色和浓茶2色。 挑选搭配适当的下酒菜肴，希望能够提供您愉悦享用美酒的时光。 当然，如果这些器皿是来自儿子的赠礼，就更为理想不过了。 器皿的价格各为5,250日圆和10,500日圆，于日本桥三越百货公司等销售中。 In Production | φ50mm H87mm | 5,250JPY | W116mm D109mm H18mm | 10,500JPY | www.kirimoto.net/ |
